01What we do most

Chimney & brick masonry

Most chimney problems start small — a hairline crack, a few soft joints — then every Ohio freeze makes them worse. We fix the cause, not just the look of it.

Crumbling mortar joints

01.1

Tuckpointing & repointing

Soft, washed-out joints let water straight into the stack. We grind out the failed mortar and repack every joint — color and profile matched to your brick.

Spalling or cracked brick

01.2

Partial & full rebuilds

Once brick faces pop off, patching won't hold. The bad courses come down and new brick goes back up — plumb, level, and tied in right.

01.3

Crowns & caps

The crown is your chimney's roof. We pour proper overhanging crowns and fit stainless caps that keep water, ice, and animals out of the flue.

Leaks where it meets the roof

01.4

Flashing & waterproofing

Most 'roof leaks' are flashing leaks. New step and counter flashing cut into the joints, sealed tight — plus a breathable water repellent for the brick.

Not sure which of these you're looking at? Call (330) 550-3347 and describe it — we'll tell you straight what it likely is and what it takes to fix.

02 — Structural repair

Block & foundation repair

When the bottom of the house moves, everything above it follows. We stabilize and rebuild the structure itself — not cosmetic patches over a problem that's still working.

We do the work most crews won't

Carrying a house corner on cribbing and a jack to rebuild the pier underneath it is careful, structural work. It's exactly the kind of job HydroGuard takes on — excavate to sound footing, shore the load, rebuild in block and brick, and put it back better than it started.

03Below grade

Basement water & drainage

It's where the HydroGuard name comes from. A dry basement is a plumbing-and-grading problem, not a paint problem — so we solve it at the source.

A wet block wall, opened up for a real fix

Waterproofing & drain tile

Interior drain systems that catch water at the footer and carry it to a pump — the real fix for a wall that seeps every hard rain.

Sump pumps & backups

Sized, installed, and tested — with a battery backup so a storm that knocks out the power doesn't flood the basement it just filled.

Exterior drainage

Downspouts, catch basins, and drywells that move roof and surface water away from the foundation before it ever gets inside.

We’ll tell you honestly whether you need a full system or just better drainage outside. Same crew that rebuilds the chimney handles what’s under the floor — one call for the whole house.

Also on the truck

We also handle

  • Glass block windows

Secure, moisture-resistant basement windows that still let light in.

  • Porch & step masonry

Brick and block porches, piers, and entry steps rebuilt or repaired.

  • Parging & waterproof coatings

Smooth, sealed finishes on exposed foundation walls and chimney bases.

Something masonry that isn’t listed? Ask us — if it’s brick, block, or water, it’s probably us.

04 — The proof

Drag it. Same chimney.
